THE JAG

The first Grand Prix Motor Race in Monaco took place in 1955. The jag print is inspired by the high speed glamour of the race and the romance and wild abandon of Monaco at the time. It’s Talented Mr Ripley love triangles, James Dean behind a newspaper at breakfast, a whole afternoon by a bougainvillea-speckled pool.

Captured in this high-speed jungle cat with a quiet power. Painted at a scale of 40cm long nose to tail in gouache by Christian.

SOLEIA

Leopards play amongst a tropical playground, featuring hibiscus flowers and palm leaves. Soleia is a print from The Runaways collection, a collection inspired by the languid hedonism and alfresco existence of summer on the riviera. Think opulent hotel breakfast buffets and silk head scarves with Missoni sunglasses in the front of a soft top.

It’s rich hues and high glamour. Designed for those who take their leisure very seriously. Painted in gouache by Christian.

LOXODONTA

Look closely at this delicately hand-drawn print and you’ll find a herd of Loxodonta Africana elephants grazing around the watering hole, chilling with vulturine guineafowl, crowned hornbills and wild vervet monkeys; an unlikely quartet brought together by the heat, the fauna and the glimmering oasis that is water in the African bush. In two colourways and three silhouettes, there’s plenty of Loxodonta to go around.

BROMLEY PARROT

The Bromley Parrot print was designed for the Wild Ones collection, dedicated to great English eccentricness. Inspired by those who embrace maximalism, use words like glorious and splendiferous, have jam-packed cabinets of curiosities and wonky frame-covered walls.

The print was designed by Alice, with an inky ballpoint. The parrots started life in turquoise on a pink pyjama with a bright red piping. She’s also proved to be equally seductive in navy blue and white.
